René came to work at Shepherd in 2002 as our Customer Service Manager, shortly after finishing graduate school at Cumberland University. Her interfacing role between the production facility in Watertown and our customers provided René excellent preparation for her current role as the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern U.S. and the West Coast. Her outgoing nature has allowed her to flourish in this position. If you have attended an AALAS event in her territory, chances are you have met René. She is passionate about helping her customers achieve Excellence in the Cage by using several of our proprietary products. René is the proud mother of her son, Brannon, who recently graduated with a business degree in Computer Science. René loves soccer, cheering on her son throughout his college career, and attending Nashville MLS games. Not surprisingly, she has a strong science strain in her background. Her grandfather was an engineer at The Scripps Oceanographic Institute, where he monitored and repaired seismic measuring devices worldwide.
